Red carpet at the MTV Video Music Awards 2012

Emma Watson, Zoe Saldana, Rihanna, Miley Cyrus ... celebrities gathered at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on the first red carpet of the season.

Taylor Swift in a white suit pants from J. Mendel and Emma Watson with a colorful mini dress Peter Pilotto were some of the best dressed in a gala in which the glamor usually reign for his absence. Although this time, the singers did a great effort not to be too loud, some like Nicki Minaj and Kesha continued faithful to their respective styles without going unnoticed.

Rihanna, who was surprised with a new makeover returning to garçon style haircut, was more discreet than usual with a sophisticated white dress Adam Selman, while Katy Perry pulled closet to wear a design pattern of Elie Saab Couture collection 2004.

Zoe Saldana, as elegant as always, wore a short dress in pale pink Salvatore Ferragamo work, while Miley Cyrus tried to hit with a low cut black Pucci design, but spoiled the look with a maxi toupee that not favored at all.
